Play Map LA is a parent-focused guide. We collect and organize factual listing details from first-party sources, such as organizer, venue, library, museum, city, county, and class provider websites.

What We Collect

We focus on facts: title, date, time, location, address, organizer, price, age range, and official source URL. We rewrite descriptions into concise factual summaries rather than copying promotional text.

Sources We Avoid

Aggregators, social platforms, marketplaces, and third-party event roundups are blocked by default unless manually approved for a specific, limited use.

Images

Images are treated separately from factual listing data. We default to using local, licensed, placeholder, or explicitly approved first-party images. If an image should not appear on Play Map LA, we will remove it.

Corrections And Removal

We link back to official sources where possible. Organizers and venues can request updates, corrections, source attribution changes, or removal through the contact or correction channel on the site.
