Young Musicians

Click here for the July 13-17 session This summer, the Pasadena Conservatory of Music (PCM) brings its popular week-long Young Musicians classes to Descanso Gardens! Designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers, these 50-minute classes nurture each child’s musical growth through singing, movement, rhymes, and percussion—with themes inspired by the natural world. Active music-making strengthens the brain/body connection, supporting early literacy, language development, and physical coordination—all while children explore their imaginations in a joyful, garden setting. Meets in the Amphitheater. 5 classes (5 days) $125 members, $150 non-members. Advance registration required. Registration will open to members on June 5 and non-members on June 10. About the Pasadena Conservatory of Music The Pasadena Conservatory of Music provides opportunities for students of all ages and backgrounds to learn, perform, and enjoy music. Founded in 1984, the Pasadena Conservatory of Music is a nationally-accredited community music school that offers a wide range of programs, including individual and group instruction, music history courses, masterclasses, summer camps, workshops, and concerts.
