Ocean Conservation and Community Science Course Fall Semester is a family-friendly kids event in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Aug 25 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM at Aquarium of the Pacific. Free to enroll plus $59 Student Service Fees How to Register Apply to OCC as a Current High School Student under Standard Dual Enrollment (free to apply) Processing usually takes 3 business days You will be given an OCC ID and OCC Email you will need to use for your Dual Enrollment Form Email your Dual Enrollment Form (after receiving an acceptance email from OCC) to: Dual Enrollment Team: dualenrollment@occ.cccd.edu Title your email subject line: Ocean Conservation Course - Dual Enrollment Dual Enrollment Form requires both handwritten parent and high school principal signatures. (Make sure to get these signatures before the school year ends to avoid a delay in processing!) Submit the form as soon as possible, limited seats available Register for the Ocean Conservation and Community Science Course, MRSC A119, CRN# 23645 (Check your MyCoast portal with your OCC Email for a registration date) Important Notes Open to all high school students through the Standard OCC Dual Enrollment Program Students will receive 3 college credits and transcript directly from OCC You are required to attend class Tuesday evenings at the Aquarium and Thursday evenings by Zoom You are responsible for OCC student services fees once you are enrolled in the class ($59) You are responsible for your own transportation to the Aquarium Aquarium Parking will be validated in the classroom on Tuesday evenings. The Aquarium of the Pacific has partnered with Orange Coast College to offer a dual enrollment course for High School students for 3 transferable college credits Fall Semester 2026 The Aquarium of the Pacific has partnered with Orange Coast College to offer a course Ocean Conservation and Community Science (MRSC A119) for 3 transferable college credits. Class will take place Fall Semester, August 25 – December 10 on Tuesday evenings at the Aquarium (6pm – 8:30pm) and Thursday evenings virtually by Zoom (6pm - 8:00pm) with field trips. This is a hybrid course. The course is limited to 30 students. There are no prerequisites required. It is instructed by Orange Coast College at the Aquarium of the Pacific and online.
