Final Concert of the Summer Featuring RemiX

The City of Long Beach Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will celebrate the end of summer by hosting a free concert featuring Southern California funk, R&B and new jack swing band, RemiX . Community members are invited to come together for one last unforgettable summer evening as PRM closes out a robust season of family-friendly programming and events. The concert will take place Friday, Sept. 4, 2026, at El Dorado Park West (2800 N. Studebaker Rd.). Pre-concert activities including face painting and games will begin at 5 p.m., with the concert taking place from 6 to 8 p.m. The concert will take place near the corner of Studebaker Road and Willow Street. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and picnic-style dinners and snacks to enjoy while they watch. RemiX is a tribute band that plays a blend of Funk, R&B and new jack swing. Their performances take concertgoers on a musical journey through all the great party hits of the 80’s and 90’s with infectious tunes and legendary performances.
