A free, family-friendly celebration of Earth Day and Indian-American cultural traditions with music, Classical Indian dance, and art-making. Join us for a day in the park filled with vibrant colors, infectious beats, and amazing dance. This in-person event is all about embracing the joy of spring, and connecting through music, arts, and culture. Bring your friends, and let's make memories that bloom as bright as the earth itself! Bring your own water bottle, as the LA Department of Water and Power is bringing their Mobile Water Truck, to make our footprint a little lighter! Featured All-Ages Activities and Vendors include: Miz Mehndi, offering pop-up henna services Tea-Making Station - Create your own tea bags with our selection of Indian loose leaf teas, sourced directly from regenerative organic certified tea estates and farms at the base of the Himalayas. LA Compost, offering education, resources, and hands-on experiences to equip individual community members to be compost stewards and advocates within their communities.
