In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we are hosting a community awareness event at BJK Main library on Tuesday, June 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This free event is open to all ages and will include: An awareness walk Community information and resources Raffle prize giveaways We are proud to partner with Wise & Healthy Aging, Long Beach Gray Panthers, Walk and Roll Long Beach, the National Center on Elder Abuse, and Bet Tzedek: Justice for All to help raise awareness and promote community support for older adults.
