About This Event
Celebrate Vida Latina with the inspiring story of Pura Belpré, the first Puerto Rican librarian at the New York Public Library. Enjoy a heartwarming read-aloud, discover how stories help connect generations and communities, and create a colorful yarn flower inspired by Puerto Rico's national flower, the flor de maga. Designed for school-age children, but the whole family is welcome! No registration is needed. Supplies are available while they last, and space is limited.
