SKATESIDE FEST Returns to Culver City May 30–31

The community is invited to enjoy the 4th Annual SKATESIDE FEST, returning to Bill Botts Park on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. This free, family-friendly event celebrates skateboarding, roller skating, youth empowerment, culture, and mental wellness. Hosted by THE SKATESIDE, the festival brings together families, skaters, local organizations, small businesses, and community partners for a high-energy weekend of activities and entertainment. THE SKATESIDE has introduced skateboarding to more than 10,000 kids since 2015. This year’s expanded two-day festival will feature beginner skateboarding lessons, skate contests, live music, DJ sets, roller skating activities, giveaways, demonstrations, and community activations. Professional skateboarder Antwuan Dixon is scheduled to make a special appearance, along with Jeff DeChesare and other featured skate talent throughout the weekend. Saguaro Counseling will also participate as the festival’s Official Mental Health Partner, supporting the event’s focus on youth and family well-being.
