About This Event
The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books returns to the USC Campus on April 18 and April 19, 2026 with general admission free, plus indoor and outdoor programming including author panels, book signings, all-ages activities, bilingual events, and cooking demos. Kid-related schedule highlights on the official schedule include Children's Stage programming across both days: Saturday features Dr. Becky Kennedy, Storytime with the Los Angeles Public Library, Mac Barnett with Jon Klassen and Shawn Harris, Biscuit Story Time & Live Drawing, Nikkolas Smith, Danica McKellar, and Nikki Grimes with Stacy Wells. Sunday highlights include Blippi & Meekah, Megan McDonald, Mychal Threets, Andrea Beaty, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Storytime with the Los Angeles Public Library, Drew Daywalt, and Melissa de la Cruz with Mike Johnston.
