About This Event
50th Annual Los Angeles Festival of the Chariots (Ratha Yatra) — a free, all-ages celebration with elaborately decorated chariots, music, dancing, chanting, cultural performances, vegetarian food, and a marketplace. Parade begins at 1855 Main St, Santa Monica (10 AM–12 PM) along Main Street and the Venice Beach Boardwalk, then festivities continue at Venice Beach Windward Plaza (12–7 PM).
