Little Hands, Big Impact with Second Harvest

Join us and Second Harvest Food Bank as we encourage little ones to be active members of society. This volunteer opportunity will encourage and open the platform for children to be able to package fruits that will be sent out to real families in need in Orange County. Times: 9am-12pm Included with museum admission Activities take place while supplies last. Events and times are subject to change. About the play partner: Second Harvest Food Bank is a nonprofit organization in Orange County dedicated to ending hunger in the community. Through food distribution, community partnerships, and volunteer programs, Second Harvest helps ensure families across the county have access to nutritious food. Frequently Asked Questions Is this activity included with museum admission? Yes. The volunteer activity is included with regular museum admission. What ages can participate? This experience is designed for children ages 2–8 and their families. What will children be doing? Children will help package fresh fruit that will be distributed to families in need throughout Orange County. Is this a real volunteer opportunity? Yes. The fruit packaged during the activity will be distributed through Second Harvest Food Bank to real families in the community.
