Critter Fair Returns to William S. Hart Park

Free Family Event Features Animal Encounters, Adoptions and Interactive Activities! The beloved Critter Fair returns to William S. Hart Park on Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., continuing a long-standing community tradition with a fun, interactive experience for all ages. This year marks a new chapter for the event at Hart Park, offering expanded opportunities for families to connect with animals and the outdoors. Guests can enjoy interactive exhibits from Placerita Canyon Nature Center and the Mobile Zoo of Southern California, including the popular Cool Critters Show. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in crafts and games including face painting, animal-themed activities, cornhole and giant Connect-4. Animal adoptions will be available on-site, with adoption fees waived for Los Angeles County shelter pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles and more. Additional adoption agencies will also be present. The barnyard will remain open throughout the event, with knowledgeable volunteers available to share information about the animals. The event will also feature local, animal-related vendors and food trucks offering a variety of food options for purchase.
