Artists in Action with Chuck Jones Center for Creativity invites families to explore creativity together through hands-on experiences led by real artists. Each visit offers new materials, fresh ideas, and playful ways for children to express themselves and connect through art. Times: 11am-12pm About the play partner: Founded upon the time-honored philosophies of legendary, Oscar-winning animation director Chuck Jones, the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity is a 501c3 charity dedicated to stimulating innovative thinking, individual expression and interpersonal collaboration – on its mission to nurture creative solutions to some of society’s most urgent and unmet needs. Our programs for youth (including those on the autism spectrum), adults of all ages, schools, businesses and organizational teams focus on elevating, celebrating and accelerating the creative genius in all of us, all for the betterment of the individuals, the groups and the communities we serve. Frequently Asked Questions Is this program included with museum admission? Yes. Artists in Action is included with regular museum admission. What ages is this program best for? This experience is designed for children ages 0–8 and their families. Is this a structured class? No. This is a drop-in, open-ended creative experience where families can participate at their own pace. When should we arrive? Families can drop in anytime between 11:00 am and 1:45 pm. Will materials be provided? Yes. All materials are provided as part of the experience. Will Chuck Jones Center for Creativity be back? Yes. The Chuck Jones Center for Creativity will return for additional sessions on August 22. Who is Chuck Jones? Chuck Jones was a legendary, Oscar-winning animation director best known for creating and directing beloved characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner. His legacy continues through the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, which inspires people of all ages to explore creativity and innovation. *Please note programming lasts 10-30 minutes.
